Equal Access and Nondiscrimination
Gran Via is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and equitable public school environment for all students, families, employees, applicants, volunteers, and community members.
Gran Via does not unlawfully discriminate, exclude, deny benefits, or otherwise treat any person differently on the basis of disability, race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, family composition, marital status, national origin, religion, ancestry, age, pregnancy or related conditions, need for special education services, or any other status protected by federal, state, or local law.
This policy applies to all Gran Via programs, activities, services, admissions, enrollment, recruitment, employment, communications, discipline, access to facilities, and participation in school-sponsored opportunities.
Harassment or discrimination includes unwelcome physical, verbal, written, pictorial, digital, or visual conduct directed at a student or group of students because of actual or perceived membership in a protected class, when the conduct is objectively offensive and limits or denies equal access to Gran Via’s education program or activities.
Gran Via prohibits sex discrimination in any education program or activity that it operates, including discrimination or harassment based on sex, pregnancy or related conditions, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression, as required by Title IX and applicable Colorado law.
Gran Via also prohibits retaliation against any person for reporting discrimination or harassment, participating in an investigation, opposing discriminatory practices, requesting accommodations or supportive measures, or exercising rights protected by civil rights laws.
Enrollment Process
Family submits this packet and required eligibility documentation.
Gran Via and the enrolling local education provider verify homeschool eligibility, grade eligibility, residency, prior enrollment, and that the student is not claimed for conflicting public school enrollment.
If applications exceed available seats, enrollment decisions will follow the program's approved enrollment and lottery procedures. Gran Via strives to serve all students and will not discriminate on any basis or condition. All means all.
The family receives written confirmation of enrollment, cohort, site, start date, and any remaining records needed.
